Here is how it works:
- WE find a professionaly trained and experienced private caregiver, YOU – employ him/her.
- We present you with up to 10 prospective candidates to choose from.
- We help to negotiate the caregiver’s salary.
- We help to draw up an employment contract between you and your caregiver.
- Your caregiver will work for you as an independent contractor.
- We do criminal background check on your prospective caregiver.
- We do driving record check on your prospective caregiver.
- We check the prospective caregiver’s professional and personal references.
- We provide your caregiver with 8 hours of initial training based on your or your loved one’s condition and specific needs.
- We offer ongoing support for you and your caregiver.
With our Home Care Placement Agency you become a life-time member of United Care Givers. A one-time membership fee of $650.00 is due at the time of caregiver’s employment start date and includes all services from the above.
In this agency the caregiver becomes your employee, not ours. You will be paying him/her directly upon agreed terms.
Your caregiver, as an independent contractor, will be responsible for paying his/her income, social security and unemployment taxes to the IRS and your caregiver, as an independent contractor, will be responsible for obtaining and keeping general liability insurance and Workers Compensation coverage.
If, for any reason, at any time, the caregiver has to quit, we will find a proper replacement at absolutely no cost to you! GUARANTEED.
