Will I have the same caregiver at all times?

As long as you have a regular schedule you will be provided with the same caregiver. If your schedule varies, then you might have different caregivers. We’ll try to work out the best solution that suits your needs.

Am I required to commit a minimum number of hours per day/week/month?

No, you are not required to commit a minimum number of hours. Depending on your needs, you can use our services few hours a day or 24 hours a day.

Do you have live-in caregivers?

Yes, we do have live-in caregivers who will be at your service 24 hours a day.

Can I change my schedule if something comes up?

Yes, you can change your schedule with as little as 24 hour notice. You come first, so you will make any changes necessary to accommodate your needs.

Will the caregiver be able to assist me with light housekeeping?

Yes, the caregiver will gladly assist you with light housekeeping such as: cleaning up after meals, light dusting or vacuuming, making up beds, and doing the laundry.

Who is United CareGivers for?

We provide services to clients of all ages. We provide caregivers to young mothers, children, adults living with disabilities and the elderly. We provide services to anyone who is in need—the one who just needs assistance with concierge service (errands, shopping, door-to-door transportation), for few hours a day and for anyone who needs 24 hour daily living assistance and wants to remain in his/her own home instead of a nursing home. At United CareGivers we put our clients first. Because we care!

Do the caregivers drive my car or do they have their own?

If you require a live-in caregiver, then for the most part you are expected to provide a car. If for some reason you are not able to do that, we will find a caregiver with his/her own car. If you require a caregiver for a few hours a day, the caregiver will drive his/her own car. It all depends on what you prefer.

Do the caregivers go through a background check?

Absolutely with no exceptions! At United CareGivers we screen each caregiver and perform a criminal background clearance, as well as drug test screening and driving record check. All our caregivers are bonded and insured.

Do I need to provide meals for the caregiver?

If you have a come-and-go caregiver, then he/she will bring their own food. If you have a live-in caregiver, then you must provide meals 3 times a day.

Do I need to provide ad separate room and bathroom for the caregiver?

A separate room is a must. A bathroom may be shared.

I am interested. What is my next step?

We are delighted that our website made a great impression! Your next step is to call our office at (630) 655-3204 and schedule an assessment. Then we will identify caregivers who have the skills, personality and availability to assist you. When this is done, you will be able to meet with the several candidates and if you approve one of them, we will set up a regular schedule and the caregiver commences working for you.
